At the beginning of last month, we referenced local theatre group,  the Industrial Strength Theatre, and the Elden Street Players‘ production of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream.  Today’s post also relates to the IST.

While it is a little more than two weeks away, it bears noting that the Industrial Strength Theatre is holding open auditions for their upcoming production of David Mamet‘s Tony award-winning and Pulitzer Prize-winning masterpiece of a play about corrupt real estate agents, Glengarry Glen Ross.
*Notably, this play contains a lot of adult language and is not considered suitable for kids.

Auditions are scheduled to take place on Mon.-Tues., on Jan. 2nd and 3rd. at 7:30pm at the Industrial Strength Theatre.  Acting experience is not required, but is always a plus.  If you’ve never read or seen GGR before, it would be a good idea to familiarize yourself with it.  An all-star movie adaptation of GGR was released about 20 years ago.

The IST is 15 minutes away from The Reserve at Town Center Apartments.
